The camp

The whole of Camp Savoy takes place on the campus of Surrey University, Guildford. Unlike some other camps, this means that everything is in one place, so no commuting between venues. This also means easy access to rooms and beds between classes and dances if you need to take a break or freshen up.

Our main priority is the quality of your dancing experience so you can expect the very highest quality classes during the day and great music, dancing and performances in the evenings.

For those staying on site, individual accommodation is available with the choice of an en-suite bathroom if preferred. These comfortable rooms are within easy walking distance of the dances, classes and dining area. See booking page for details of how to book.

This year we are offering a meal package for the Hillside Restaurant. There are other restaurants on campus, and an on-site shop where you can purchase food if you do not select a meal package.

Your Camp Savoy DJ’s:

Mike Salisman | Laurence Ward | Bic Graham | Paul Claydon

Dom Eagleton | Scott Cupit

We have great air-conditioned dance spaces where our top international teachers will be taking classes for all of the levels. This includes the fabulous five hundred capacity University Hall where the evening dances and cabarets will take place, plenty of room to try out all those new dance moves!

Surrey University

The University of Surrey is set within a beautifully landscaped campus, within walking distance of Guildford town centre. That means plenty of shopping and pleasant summer strolls if you like that kind of thing. It is very conveniently located, directly off the A3 and only 9 miles from the M25. The venue is 27 miles from Heathrow airport and 36 miles from Gatwick airport.
